celebrate neighborhood toy store day!

Join us on Saturday, November 14th for Neighborhood Toy Store Day — a nationwide celebration that shines a spotlight on the charm, warmth, and magic of local toy stores like ours. Since 1986, The Next Generation has been part of your community, helping families discover the joy of play, the thrill of finding the perfect toy, and the happiness that comes from shopping local.

This special day is all about celebrating what makes local toy stores so special — personal service, quality toys, and a sense of community you won’t find anywhere else. Step inside, explore the season’s hottest toys, and share in a day full of holiday cheer, local love, and family fun!

create your holiday wish list & You Might Win!

Kids can browse our newest toy arrivals and create their very own holiday wish list — a fun way to dream big, discover the season’s most magical gifts, and kick off the holiday season! It’s a hands-on, playful experience that the whole family can enjoy together.

Plus, you might WIN what's on your wish list!

How it works:

Explore the shop and discover the hottest toys, games, and gifts.
Fill out a wish list with all your favorites.
Turn it in to our Wish Box for a chance to WIN your wish list (up to $50 in toys!). We'll draw two winners at the conclusion of the event!

shop local & make gift-giving easy!

We’ll keep a copy of your child’s wish list here at The Next Generation, so family and friends can shop directly from it — making it easy to find the perfect gifts! And when they shop, we’ll make sure those treasures are beautifully wrapped with our complimentary gift wrapping, so they leave ready to be tucked under the tree.

You’ll also take a copy of the wish list home to share, so everyone can join in the fun — and you’ll have a handy reminder of everything on your little one’s holiday wish list!
