Forty years ago, The Next Generation opened with one simple goal: to help families stretch their dollars while finding quality children's clothing, toys, gifts, and so much more.
Since 1986, we've had the privilege of watching children grow up, welcoming new generations of families, and becoming a small part of thousands of family stories. Many of the children who once shopped in our store now bring in children of their own—a reminder of just how special these 40 years have been.
This celebration isn't just about our store—it's about the incredible community that has supported us every step of the way. Whether you've been shopping with us since the beginning or just discovered us recently, thank you for making 40 years possible.

We've planned a fun weekend to celebrate 40 wonderful years, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Every purchase you make during our Anniversary Celebration earns a chance to WIN YOUR PURCHASE AMOUNT BACK — up to $200 in store credit.
How It Works:
Make any purchase during our 40th Anniversary Celebration on July 31 or August 1.
Write your name and phone number on the back of your receipt.
Turn in your receipt at the register.
At the end of the day, we’ll draw one lucky receipt. The winner will receive store credit equal to the amount of their purchase — valid for a future purchase at The Next Generation!
Free 1986 Favorites Candy Bag
